We’re approaching the first school year with the new homeschooling law and regulations in place, and we’re working to add sample forms and resources to assist you in complying with the new law.

Take a look at the learning project template posted below, along with detailed examples and information about how to use the template. While the Homeschooling Regulation does not require a specific form for the learning project, this template is drafted so as to be closely aligned with the wording and requirements of the Regulation.

The guide prepared by HSLDA Canada and ACPEQ will be released early next week. In the meantime, you will find a number of helpful resources in the template to assist you in preparing your learning project.

Your learning project must be submitted to the Ministry by September 30th, 2018. Stay tuned for more details on how to submit your learning project, as well as templates and clear examples for the midterm and completion reports due later in the school year. We are here to answer your questions about the learning project and how to adapt it to meet your homeschool. If you have any questions about the template, your learning project, or your requirements in the coming school year, please get in touch with us!
